Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost television series. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school and moved into Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. She was struggling to make ends meet when she got her first role in acting in Rachel's Room's leading character. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was the main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace has worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, wanted to move to film. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills.
