Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost television series. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school and moved into Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. She was struggling to make ends meet when she got her first role in acting in Rachel's Room's leading character. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was the main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace has worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, wanted to move to film. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) Replays of these role. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost in the series, which included the conclusion. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the 6th Season. The role she plays is Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars and catches the eye of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as an early teenager, as she was cast in minor parts in a few films directed that her father directed. Also, she worked alongside her brother in the 2001 popular movie Donnie Darko. Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance as the lead of Secretary (2002), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). In 2006, she was also nominated for her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. She gained wider recognition after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercials she appeared in during the year 2006.
